Lightwright is compatible with Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10 and Mac OS X 10.7 or newer, including OS X 10.11, El Capitan.
Lightwright can save files in Lightwright 5 format, but the file will not contain any version 6 data, such as DMX Addresses, anything in the "other" Maintenance columns, or Maintenance Groups. When you save the file for version 5, Lightwright will give you a list of everything that will be missing in the .lw5 file.
If you’re using a Mac and parts of your paperwork doesn’t show up on the printer, check to see if you have duplicate fonts. Open FontBook and look for little yellow triangular icons that warn you of duplicates. Resolve the duplicates, and everything should print normally.
If you’re using Quicken for Mac and Quicken Scheduler, you will probably find that your arrow keys don’t work properly in Lightwright (and other programs). The only solution is to not use Quicken Scheduler.
If you are using Microsoft Windows and your printer won’t work with Lightwright, here’s how to get it working:
1) Go to Start>Control Panel>Printers and Faxes
2) Right-click on printer in question, then go to "Properties"
3) Go to "Advanced" Tab
4) Click the radio button which states "Print Directly to the Printer" and then "Apply"
